Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
Hello,

In my opinion, it is due to the weakness of the muscles of the area after the immobility happened. I understand how bad it is but it is common with this kind of injuries. From my experience, I would tell you that the only way to get better is doing proper physiotherapy for about 8 to 12 weeks with Kinesio Taping, it has shown great results in more than a study.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Ayman Darrag, Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist
