Thsnks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you should consult pulmonologist and get done CT Thorax and Bronchoscopy with BAL (Broncho Alveolar Lavage). Calcified opacity in lung suggest old TB or pneumonia. Once these lesion are cured and healed, healing occurs either by fibrosis or by calcification. So calcified lesion suggest old disease. But you need to prove that this lesion is inactive and you are not infectious, for your work visa. In this matter CT thorax will help you. Bronchoscopy and BAL is also needed. If both these are normal than you can argue for rejecting your visa. So consult pulmonologist and discuss these things.
