Pathologist and Microbiologist, Dr. Siddartha's Response
Hello,
If you are feeling there is a lump in tonsillar area, then go for an incisional biopsy where the possibility of malignancy (cancer) can be found out accurately.
Meet surgical oncologist or general surgeon for biopsy. Biopsy test only gives 100% diagnosis whether cancer or not.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Siddartha
