Hello doctor, today i went for my ultrasound at 6 + weeks. doctor saw the sac and yolk she said that there is query about cardiac flicker, i can see it but could not find the graph. she advised me another ultrasound after one week. i am much worried about it. is everything normal.
hi welcome to hcm Normally by 6weeks fetal cardiac activity will be seen in a transvaginal ultrasound or by 8 weeks in ultrasound abdomen.cardiac flicker indicates fetal activity.so do not worry.just wait for one more week to repeat the ultrasound and look for fetal cardiac activity.donot stop your medications.continue taking Iron folic acid tablets and multivitamin syrups as prescribed by your doctor.take healthy nutritious foods like milk ,fruits,boiled vegetables,green leafy vegetables and dry fruits.avoid spicy foods.Avoid lifting weights and heavy exercise.consult your doctor.
