I am 29 years old and developed cataracts in both eyes five months after a whiplash injury after a vehicle accident. I have no family history of this and no medical conditions that would explain this. Is it possible that the accident caused the problem?
Hello Welcome to health care magic. I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having cataract following injury. Cataract can occur following injury and it is called as traumatic cataract. The treatment for cataract is by surgery. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
