Suggest Treatment For Celiac Sprue Disease With Rapid Heart Rate
I am 43, 5'5", 180 and have high blood pressure, high cholesterol ( which is all under control now). I have celiac sprue diease, lymphaedema in both legs and constanstally have problems with rapid heart beats even in the resting stage. I have quite abit of chest pains and do not know what is going on. Any advice on what I should do?
Studies have shown that certain cardiovascular maladies, including cardiomyopathy, myocarditis, arrhythmias, and premature atherosclerosis, are more prevalent in individuals with CD (celiac disease) as compared to individuals without the disease.
I think it is a very less number of patients. you may consult your physician to confirm that your symptoms may be due to some other causes like arrhythmia or hyperthyroidism or electrolyte imbalance or infection etc.
Avoid caffeinated drinks and alcohol. Avoid smoking. Avoid gluten contain food. If symptoms not improved please consult your physician/cardiologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
