Suggest Treatment For Chairi Malformation And Idopathic Inercraniel Hypertention

Hi ive just recently been told i have a chairi malformation and idopathic inercraniel hypertention in maybibhad decompression sugery that has faild but they dont know what to do next i need an lp but its not safe as my toinsils are still in my spinal cord but im lossin vision in my left eye what would you suggest

Well you must have undergone posterior fossa decompression with duraplasty which was not so successful for chiari malformation.You may require partial removal of tonsils along with repeat dural repair.Regarding idiopathic intracranial hypertension you require urgent shunt surgery as there is impending vision loss.
