Suggest Treatment For Chest Congestion And Coughing Up Mucus

I keep having congested chest, coughing up mucus and constantly blowing my nose. My chest has felt really tight all the time and I have shortness of breath. I live in a college house with 5 other people and I took antibiotics like 9 months ago or so for the same problem but I only took 3 days worth of it and i do not know if that messed with my immune system. I don t particularly eat healthy or exercise anymore. Just wandering what you think and also worth noting I took antibiotics once again this semester and I still felt congested. I was wandering if I get on one of these healthy diets and sanitize our house somehow if there is any possible way I can get rid of this mess or if I need to go to the hospital or what? I may be a little paranoid just want to be on the safe side

Hello

Welcome to Health care Magic

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having chest congestion and coughing mucus.

These symptoms indicate respiratory tract infection and requires treatment by the use of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs. The use of mucolytics and anti-tussive drugs will provide symptomatic relief.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for evaluation and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
