Hello,

The possibility of GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) is more likely. GERD is due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter. Because of it, the acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause chest discomfort, burping, gaging, something stuck in the center of the chest etcetera. So follow these steps for better symptomatic relief in GERD.
1. Avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid junk food.
2. Avoid large meals, instead, take frequent small meals.
3. Take pantoprazole and levosulpiride combination on empty stomach twice daily.
4. Go for walking after meals.
5. Keep 2-3 pillows under the head in bed.
6. Lose weight if you are obese. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm. Quit smoking and alcohol if you have these habits. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
