Suggest Treatment For Chest Heaviness

I always feel like I have a weight on my chest which makes it hard to breath. I use albeuteral inhaleor when I am sick, but even when I am not sick I feel the chest weight. It's not pain, but more like someone is pushing down on my chest and there is a pressure there. Can you tell me what it is that is causing the weight feeling and if there is something I can do for it.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello dear,

Warm welcome to Healthcaremagic!

I have evaluated your query thoroughly.

In majority of instances it is low inspiratory drive of the lungs responsible for feeling pressure on the chest.

Engage in deep breathing exercises, walk everyday in fresh air and avoid smoking (i.e. if you smoke). Consult your physician if required.

Hope this clears your doubt.

Wishing you a fine recovery.

For any further assistance, please contact me.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon

Take care
