Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain After Taking Cefazolin Injections

Had neck surgery and ended with an affection and had to have stint(?) put in for my medication ceFAZolin 20ml. every 8 hours. the last 3 days when inject the med Ive been getting chest pains. been told that it can be painful if it comes straight out of the refrigerator but been on it for 3 weekes and no problems till latety.

Hi Dear!!Thanks for your query to HCM.
Read your query and understood your health concern.
Based on facts of you query, you seem to suffer from-
Cefazolin induced belated drug vasculitis causing chest pain.
Its known side effect of Cefazoline.
Remedy-
Steroids with Anti-histaminics would resolve it.
Second opinion from Cardiologist to fix accompanied chest pain not related to drugs- just caused from Vaso-Vagal effect from acute infusion pain.
Possibility of thrombo-embolism from injection site with pulmonary embolism needs to be kept in mind.
Above causes need to be kept in mind while planning treatment for chest pain accompanied with long Cefazoline injection treatment.
