i keep having tightening in my upper chest bottom throat say , it also makes me cough to almost clear it it only last seconds , sitting down can bring it on or exercise but very rare , but mostly its tight clothing i also get a rattling feeling in my tummy when i breath deeply , this has happen all week about 20 times a day and even though this has happen for years its only been now and again , have been feeling really breathless , lately 33 year old female no med non smoker

So better to consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test). PFT will not only diagnose asthma but it will also tell you about severity of the disease and treatment is based on severity only. You may need inhaled bronchodilators (formoterol or salmeterol) and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) (budesonide or fluticasone). Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
