Suggest Treatment For Chicken Pox Scars On The Face

Hi Doctor, I got chicken pox 2 year back and i have the chicken pox scars on face , they are very dense and dark, i did take applied the calamine lotion, scars are not in the body but in face there are many scars, dark and big chicken pox scars, or do you recommend any other treatment please

Hi.
As per your case history of chickenpox scars, my treatment advice is -
1. Scars usually heal on its own, but it takes around 3 - 4 years.
2. Best treatment modality is fractional CO2 laser resurfacing done once in 45 days. 4-5 sittings are required to get appreciable results.
