Suggest Treatment For Chills After An Abortion
Hi I had a surgical abortion 8 days ago and just today I ve been having chills and I feel warm. Not feverish but warmer. I took my antibiotics like the clinic said but haven t been resting or drinking enough because I ve been so worried about infection.

Understand your concern
Chills after abortion is due to infections and retain product of abortion.
Retain product increased risk of infection. Please consult the gynecologist and get the following investigations: Swab test, CBC for infections and Usg for retain product. (should be treated by D & C).
Do not worry for infection take following antibiotics:
Continue your antibiotics, tablet paracetamol, proper rest and sound sleep, maintain pelvic hygiene (wash genital area with warm salted water)
