I recently have a new boyfriend and I had never been to a gynecologist until after we started having sex we were having vaginal and anal I went to my first gynecologist appointment and my test came back positive for chlamydia (we dont know who gave it to who) I got treated but my partner never did so I got it again I then went to the hospiatl and tested positive and got treated for clamydia my partner still never got treated and we ended up having unprotected sex, so I figured I had it again. I went back to the gynecologist after that and my test came back negative? How could that be.
Hello i understand your concern. Chlamydia is a sexual transmitted infection. you got the infection from a partner infected with chlamydia. so you got 2 times chlamydia and treated you only. the third time you had done investigation and its negative, it may occur if the titer is low. so no need to think that you do not get the chlamydia again. My advice is you both partner get the chlamydia treatment together. Then chances of chlamydia is less, if you both are not having relation with any other. take antibiotic like azithromycin for both of your partner prevent repeated infection. thanks
