Hello. My girlfriend just got diagnosed with Chlamydia and I ve been having symptoms too. She admitted to cheating on me a month ago. I recently had a DNA HIV test for work last week and that came back negative, however I do not have health insurance and I cant afford to go see a doctor again. Hello dear Understand your concern Chlamydia caused by chlamydia trachomatis. It is transmitted sexually. Symptoms are: dysuria, dyspareunia, post coital bleeding, intermenstrual bleeding.
Diagnosis: Tissue culture ELISA to detect antigen Microimmunofluroscent antibody detection by serology PCR
Following are treatment: Tetracycline/erythromycin: 0.5 gm 4 times a day for 7- 14 days Azithromycin 1 gm orally single dose is also effective Sexual partner can be treated simultaneously Use safer sex technique
Maintain hygiene as below: Wear loose, cotton underwear Bathe or shower frequently Wash vagina with warm and salt water after urination to maintain hygiene Change out of sweaty or wet clothing as soon as possible Do use hygiene sprays Reduce the amount of sugar you eat.
