Hello ,

Thanks for consulting Hcm

I have read your query . Chocking cough in night and phlegm can be due to common cold, tonsilitis or throat infecrion . For this I will suggest you to consult Ent surgeon for clinical examination ans investigation like chest x ray . Inmeatime do warm saline gargle. You can take medicine like Azithromycin or Cefixime by consulting with local doctor .

Hope this will help you .
