Suggest Treatment For Chronic Consistent Headache

Husband has had a chronic consistent headache for a few weeks now, has seen a doctor & was prescribed a drug called apo-amitriptyline, but not really helping all that much, had gone for a massage, and she said he has knots in his shoulders, which can be a cause of his headaches! What should our next step be , another massage ? so confused I m hoping u can assist us in an answer. Thank-u
