Suggest Treatment For Chronic Constipation
After surgery I have chronic constipation. They tried stool softeners suppositories and a tube down my throat to drain stomach acid. Still no bowel movement. They speak of a laparoscopic procedure. What exactly are they talking about. It requires anesthesia so won’t that make it worse ?..

Chronic constipation due to may causes, if they trying about laparoscopic or laparotomy procedure means then there's is a chance of bowel obstruction or bowel infection. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please post your ultrasound report and I will treat accordingly.
