Suggest Treatment For Chronic Cough And Bronchitis

my husband was diamond with bronchitis he has had a cough and fever off and on for about six weeks he was prescribed amoxicillin with cough syrup originally upon not getting better he returned to the dr and was prescribed a stronger antibiotic the problem is he has fainted on three different occasions and the coughing persists should we be worried could it be something else besides bronchitis

Welcome to HCM,
As per your discussion it seems that your Husband have cough for 6weeks and that have not responded to treatment with 3 episode of fainting. this fainting could be because of cough Syncope if fainting was associated with coughing at the time of fainting. You need to get his Chest Xray, Lung Function done and SOS CAT Scan done to rule out other causes of cough.
