Suggest Treatment For Chronic Dry Cough

Dear Doctor, From past 4 months my sister is suffering from dry cough.x ray and ct scan shows nothing.Lungh functioning is ok.The cough is severe when she lies on her back. Alopathy, steroids,many cough syrup everything done but the cough is still there. What to do she can not able to sleep due to this cough. Does it related to heart????
