Hello,

To get rid of chronic fissure, make dietary changes. Take boiled food, avoid taking processed food, packaged food, spicy or oily food. Do not take full fat dairy products, red meat or food that causes constipation. Take fiber in diet, you can also take supplements. Take water and fluids in adequate quantity. Take laxatives to avoid constipation and to help better bowel movement.

Do not strain while passing stool. For relief from pain, apply ointment Rectiv. Take sitz bath twice or thrice daily. You can also apply ointment containing Lignocaine, on the affected part, it will help to reduce discomfort and pain. You can take acetaminophen or naproxen, one stat when needed to help reduce pain, inflammation or soreness in the affected area. Your symptoms should improve in a week or two. If not, get clinically examined, you may be recommended surgery if needed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
