My neck pain comes and goes, when it comes it s a throbbing pain, and when I turn my head I feel the pain. My back hurts depending on my body position. Please help!
Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms seem to be relate to cervical spine degenerations. They can cause inflammation of the neck muscles, leading to neck pain, headache which is exacerbated by neck movements.
I recommend consulting with your GP for a careful physical exam, a cervical spine X ray study and inflammation tests. A cervical spine CT scan would certainly give more information on this region of your body and the possible cause of pain.
You should discuss with your doctor on these issues. Physiotherapy would be helpful in this case.
Hope to have been helpful!
Best wishes, Dr. Aida
