I am a 35 year old female and I ve had a headache for 5 days now. I have never had any headaches until 5 days ago. It started in the back of my head from the top of my ear about a couple of inches and stops and restarts on the other side same way. Now today my whole head hurts. Can anyone help me figure this out. thank you

Thank you for choosing HCM.

Headaches of migraines have trigger factors that cause them to start. A trigger factor can be anything like noise, cold food or cold weather.

Try to identify which trigger factor started the headache and then you can work to avoid it in the future.

There are a few things you can do to get rid of the headache. These are:
- Drinking lots of water
- Sleeping 7 hours daily
- Taking 1 tablet Paracetamol 500 mg if you feel you will get a headache
- Inhaling steam to clear the nasal passages

These things will help reduce the headache. If you have any further symptoms like weakness or fever, please tell us so that we can help you better.

Wishing you a quick recovery.
