Hi,
25 years of age and having no history of
high blood pressure and diabetes, definitely requires the physician to diagnose the disease properly as some of them are treatable.
Your high creatinine levels definitely shows there is some problem. I hope the doctor has given you a diagnosis for the cause of the
chronic kidney disease.
Young patient commonly at your age can have
membranous nephropathy. or it could be a
nephritic syndrome. It is advisable to further investigate your condition.
Do Peripheral smear, Serum Albumin, Pt/aptt/INR levels, LFT, RFT, Serum electrolytes, Lipid Profile. Urine Routine Examination and Spot Urine ACR are also important.
Furthermore, do an ultrasound scan of your kidneys. If required a
nephrologist can advise you to do a biopsy.
Until you have been properly diagnosed, its very hard to tell the treatment, prognosis and for how long you will take meds. My advise is consult a proper nephrologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
