Hi..
Thanks for the query..
As per your complain and presentation of symptoms you are suffering from
CHRONIC LARYNGITIS and the most common causes for it are
Acid reflux, excessive use of vocal cords like singing , chronic
sinus infection or sinusitis etc..
There are a few common causes and as you have burning in throat as well as it can be commonly due to Acid Reflux..
In a few cases it can also be due to nodules or tumours on the vocal cords which can be benign or malignant..
You should get a Larygoscopy done to rule out the exact cause of the Laryngitis and get treated accordingly..
For tumours and nodules Biopsy can be done..
Treatment can be planned depending upon the cause..
For acid reflux antacids and
proton pump inhibitors like
Pantoprazole or Omeprazole can be advised..
Limit the use of vocal cords if it is due to over use..
If it is due to infections oral and injectable antibiotics can help..
As of now do warm saline gargles for relief..
For soreness in tongue take Ibuprofen and suck on ice pops for reducing inflammation..
For swollen gum over the wisdom tooth known as
Pericoronitis an x-ray shall be taken by the
dentist and if the tooth is erupting properly and is not impacted removal of gum flap has to be done while if tooth is impacted extraction is the correct treatment followed by antibiotics and painkillers..
As of now you can do warm saline gargles and take Ibuprofen which is anti-inflammatory painkiller for relief from pain and inflammation..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
