Suggest Treatment For Chronic Migraine Headache

I sometimes get migraines, but this time I have throbbing pains that come and go in the top of my head as well as constant pain in the front and near my eyes. My ears feel plugged an bit painful but the throbbing is on day 2 and I ve had the feeling my ears are plugged for over a week now, I try to pop them but nothing seems to work. Could this be something serious or just another migraine?

Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms seem to be related to possible sinus infection.

Do you have fever or running nose?

I recommend consulting with your family doctor for a careful physical exam and some tests:

- a sinus X ray study
-lab blood tests (complete blood count, inflammation tests)

An ENT consult could be needed to exclude possible inner ear infection.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Greetings!
Dr. Aida
