I have a right to left shunt, so far only significant at high altitudes and we live in TX now (relocated from CO). I have asthma. I had chronic respiratory alkalosis (resolved after leaving high altitude) PH was being considered, cardo said subjectively I have text book PH (pulmonary hypertension), though objectively, I did not And this morning, I was squatting and noticed that with increased exercise, blue veins on my chest, starting as noticeable on my right side, then becoming more and more prominent, from right to left side, as I continued to exercise. I stopped, the prominence of the blue veins decreased...about 10 min later, repeated the squatting, and the same thing occurred again, with in 1-2 minutes of exercise and continued to worsen as I continued to squat. Is this significant?
