Hello,

Thank you for asking at HCM.

I went through your history and would like to make suggestions for you as follows:

1. I usually suggest my such patients intranasal corticosteroids (such as mometasne furoate or fluticasone propionate) for 2-4 weeks depending upon response. As it is a prescription drug, your doctor needs to prescribe it.

2. Regular steam inhalation twice a day helps in sinus problems.

3. For your chest discomfort, I would think of two possibilities: it could be either wheezing/asthma related or due to gastroesophageal reflux-related.
More details of your symptoms would help to choose first possibility of the two, although both of them could also be interrelated.

4. In general, please avoid exposure to dusts, smokes, air pollution and cold air as much as possible.

5. I would suggest you not to use over-the-counter nose decongestant sprays too frequently, as they have their own side effects.

Hope above suggestions will be helpful to you.

Should you have any further query, please feel free to ask at HCM.

Wish you the best of the health ahead.

Thank you & Regards.
