I just had sinus surgery due to chronic sinusitis. The results of the biopsy said I have Enterobacter Cloacae complex and Methicillin resistant staphyloccus aureus. They are treating me with Gentamicin 80 mg in a nebulizer. does this sound right? how serious is this. I ve been chronically ill for 1 weeks.
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
According to your clinical history, post sinus surgery, biopsy with mrsa and enterobacteria infections, can be treated with several courses of medications due to its resistance. it can be proved again with biopsy or culture. do not worry, you are on right medications. Its takes time.
Hope, I have answered your query.
Wishing you good health.
