Suggest Treatment For Clogged Ears

I got my tragus pierced a couple weeks ago and I just showered and I was cleaning up the piercing and it started to feel clogged so I tried to use a q-tip to clean it but it got worse and it felt even more clogged after I sprayed the solution on my ear to keep from getting infected, what do I do ?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Clogged ears may be due to pharyngitis with Eustachian tube block or middle ear infection or chronic allergies etc.

Identify the cause. Avoid allergen, avoid cool drinks and frozen water.

Avoid smoking and alcohol.

Use tablet Sinarest.

Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.

Use Otrivin nasal spray for congestion.

If symptoms not improved, please consult your ENT specialist. He will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care.
