Suggest Treatment For Cold And Cough In A Child

Hi doctor, my daughter is 3 years old. She is suffering from very bad cold for past few
Days. Her cough has worsened and her intake is totally null. Doctor has prescribed omnocortil and comes syrup. Please advice for her poor intake? I I give her phenarggan at nights... Sorry she coughs very badly

Thanks for the query.
For cough , cold you should give the child bronchodilator like syp. Asthalin, for cold you can give anticold like sinarest.
Antibiotics should be given after consulting with doctor.
I would not recommend giving omnacortil, as it may worsen the infection.
