Hi,

Any fever? Does the stool contain blood or mucus? If not, we need not worry. Just give ORS in small frequent sips to avoid dehydration. Milk can also be given (decrease amount and increase frequency to avoid vomiting). Baby can be given the usual diet; just avoid fruits, juices and plain water till recovery. You can give Ondansetron suspension (2mg/5ml) 2.5 ml for vomiting, 2-3 times a day. If not getting better in 5 days, he develops fever or becomes lethargic, kindly take him to pediatrician for further evaluation

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
