Suggest Treatment For Cold
My 12 year old daughter has had a cold for a couple of weeks and still has a bit of a cough with no fever. She is scheduled to have her tonsils out tomorrow. Would it be safe for her to go through the surgery?
She is 4ft 9in and weighs 90lbs. She has had numerous sore throats and colds. Recently, severe tonsilitis.

She is having some type of upper respiratory tract infection. It is not safe to undergo surgery during an infection. Take tablet Augmentin twice daily x 7 days. Take tablet Levocetrizine at bed time x 1 week. Take Betadine gargle thrice daily for 2 week. After the infection gets resolved go for surgery. Take Brozedex syrup thrice daily x 2 week.
