Suggest Treatment For Congestion And Cough After An Injury

My eight month old son fell off a bed in our hotel room yesterday. He acted fine all day and evening no swelling or tenderness on his head his pupils were dilating at a normal rate and his behavior was normal. Late last night he began presenting with severe cold symptoms. All night and all day today he has been fussy and his eyes are goopy he has a cough and is very congested. Could this be related? I have been told to watch for behavior changes but these behaviorchanges are normal if he is just getting a cold. (Big bubby and i both got colds at the same time)
