Suggest Treatment For Congestive Heart Disease

My husband is in hospice for three weeks with CHF. His right leg is weeping, eyes half open/he is 6 2 , normally weighed 190, has lost a lot of weight. Sleeps sitting up, is on oxygen. He urinates alot, but does not drink much fluid. Has not eaten food for a weak. His eyes are yellow and large. Skin is a little yellow. Is he in the last stage of CHF?

Hi welcome to HCM.
He seems to class 4 of CHF.This is end stage heart failure that can present with severe loss of weight and feeling of fatigue.Associated symptoms of pedal edema and frequent urination due to renal failure.Drugs like inotropes and diuretics can help to improve the symptoms to some extent.A 2 dimensional echocardiography can estimate the residual cardiac function.Restrict water and salt intake.Consult your cardiologist for further care.
Thank you
