I care for a 76 yr old man who has crohns and had a slight heart attack approx a month ago. He had a stint put in and they told him he does have congestive heart failure and needs to watch weight every day, etc. He is to take a water pill if swollen feet or gains over 2 pounds. He has multiple symptoms and has his good days and bad. My question is - he feeling good (for him), no swelling of feet, no weight gain, but, he is having shortness of breath. (We had to take him to hospital before for this where they had him on an IV to remove all the excess fluid...) Could there be other reasons for his shortness of breath or?
