Suggest Treatment For Constipation And Hard Stools

My surgeon sent me to a GI Doc who ordered a test to see what was up. All test came back normal. My intestines looked normal. My dr said I may have a prolapsed uterus. My symptoms went away. Well, they re back. My surgeon and ob are on vacation. I have had pebble size bowel movement today (maybe a 1/4 of a cup, which took me 20 mins to strain out. Any advice? MaryEllen
