Suggest Treatment For Constipation And Swelling Above Hip And Rib

I am having terrible pain and swelling on my left side right above my hip and last rib. It has been been hurting for months, now is very severe pain and swelling. I had an MIR done thinking that my lower back and hip were out of place. that was not the case. I have been to pt because the dr. said it was a pulled muscle, that did no good at all, and that was 2 years ago. Now I am in so much pain I cant hardly get around. I do have a terrible problem with constipation. Please help me.
