Suggest Treatment For Constipation And Urinary Retention
JHello doctor,My 13 months old son has not been urinating for the last 15 hours.we have been giving lactitol monohydrate syrup (5 ml with 100 ml water) for constipation problem as prescribed by the doctor.he has not been eating well after we start to give lactitol.is it right medicine for his problem.please advise us.thanks in advance.

Dear- thanks for using our service. It is important to watch his urinary output. He should drink more fluids and bring him to the pediatrician for evaluation.
Lactitol should not be the reason for this situation, but will recommend to stop it. He might be dehydrated due to not eating well,but will need to find out the reason for this .
