Suggest Treatment For Constipation In An Infant

my 3 month 7 days old baby is not passing stool past 5 days.this indicate anything series to my baby.i am breast feeding use only.on birth my baby weight 3.5 kg.now 5.5 kg.she weight is normal or abnormal.i give feed my baby every 2 hours only.please help me and give solution for this problem

Even if your baby passes stools once in 5 to 6 days also its a normal phenomenon.

No treatment is required. Dont panic.

If at all you feel your baby is struggling because of constipation, just stimulate her anus gently with your little finger.

If this fails, take a beetle leaf, apply oil in its stalk and gently insert in the anus to 1 cm depth. This will not harm her.

Breast milk is the best milk.
Exclusive breast feeding is required fir atleast 6 months.
