Suggest Treatment For Constipation, Painful Diarrhea And Excessive Sweating
Hello, I have had a long history of bowel issues and lately it has flared up and even caused me to be out of work twice this month. I have constipation most of the time, then out of no where I get painful diarrhea, and it lasts through the day. I get shaky and sweaty often and feel very run down. I have had several tests in the past to check for allergies and blockages and nothing has turned up yet. I try to self medicate with over the counter stool softeners that don t work and I am afraid of taking more than the recommended dosages. I am lost and very uncomfortable almost everyday. It seems to take effect on my overall energy and even clarity becomes an issue on bad days. Could be from pain, but there must be something I can do here.
Hi thanks for asking question. You have disturbed bowel movement so mostly it is functional bowel disease. If abdominal pain also associated the irritable bowel syndrome can be the cause. For constipation relief regularly do exercise. Drink more water and fruit juice. Avoid smoking strictly. Take fried and fatty food to a minimum. Excess spicy food not taken. Fibre supplent helpful in constipation like spinach, carrot,wheat bran,whole grain etc. Cooked oatmeal helpful. Probiotic useful for restoring bacterial healthy flora. Avoid stress as it can precipitate your bowel condition. If still symptoms worsening ultrasound or endoscopic examination helpful. Wish you good health. Dr.parth
