Suggest Treatment For Continous Spotting And Irregular Periods
Hello, I was spotting for 12 days and it would only be brown/pink/bright red when I wipe, never on the pad the first couple of days then maybe after 7 days it started to just be spots on the sanitary napkin. I have an irregular cycle, I come on every 3 months I have not came on for this month. My cycle is usually 5 days the first day just brown old blood 2nd 3rd day very heavy and 4th and 5th light. So I have stopped spotting for about 3 days now and when I went to the bathroom and wiped it was brown dirt like substance, but it can t be dirt I wipe properly and just got out the shower maybe 4 hours ago, also it looked kind of like brown sand inside of the toilet

The cause of irregular periods such as polycystic ovaries,obesity and hypothyroidism should be identified and treated effectively.Ultrasound pelvis,FSH LH hormone ratio ,thyroid profile and blood sugar level , body mass index is essential to identify the cause of irregular periods. Hormonal imbalance is the main cause of delayed or irregular or scanty menstrual bleeding.
Drugs like Medroxy progesterone or regesterone may be needed in the subsequent cycles for regular periods.Kindly consult your gynaecologist for the same.
