Suggest Treatment For Controlling Blood Sugar Levels
I am 75 year old female diabetic for 35 years.My bloo.Is thisd sugar ranges from7.6 to 8.0n on occasion. I am On Janumet, metformin, glimepriride and quinapril.I think I am doing ok, very active, No high blood pressure no smoking or drinking.I feel fine...Whats the problem for my doctor
Hello, These levels are good and you are doing pretty all right at your age,as you said. At your age there is no point in aggressively controlling our blood sugar levels as it can result in hypoglycemic attacks and other problems.Keep taking your medicines and keep your blood pressure and cholesterol in acceptable and required range. Must make effort to keep doing some regular exercises like walking for 30 minutes a day. Thanks
