My son is suffering from corn since 6 months. At first there is 3 corns in his foot. But after using corn caps it not cures. Then we goes for next step,Skin doctor sprays in that particular place. In that 3 already affected place cleared. But now it spreads to another 10 places in foot.Is there any permanent solution to cure this without spreading to another places. Please explain about how corn will come.Whether it spreads from someone,in which way it spreads?
My Dear I am concerned about the condition your son is suffering from. Corns develop as a result of physical pressure and friction. so these should be on the bony prominences or areas of pressure by ill fitting shoes or otherwise and are not infectious. I hope you know now that probably the diagnosis was missed and that is why the treatment did not work. In all probability he is having plantar warts which are caused by virus and are infectious. warts can occur on any surface of the feet and tend to involve one foot first. a simple test will help you get a fair idea of the warts and that is that when pressed from sides, the warts become [painful while corns are painful when pressure is applied to their top. Kindly check and report back to me. In case these actually are warts, then you will have to arrange for their removal by one of several ways like radio frequency, laser or chemical application. Best of everything to you.
