It is inflammation of rib
cartilage. And pain worsens when cartilage is moving during coughing,
sneezing etc.
So do following things for better symptomatic relief.
1. Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise.
2. Avoid movements causing pain. Avoid bad postures in sleep.
3. Take painkiller and anti inflammatory drugs.
4. Apply warm water pad on affected areas.
5. Wear rib belt to prevent mobilisation of painful areas.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these in 1-2 weeks.
