Suggest Treatment For Costochondritis

Hi, I saw a doctor at the pain clinic for costochondritis yesterday, and asked her if she believed if it could possibly be linked with hypermobility as I have both, then she asked what level I m at as there are apparently four levels, and I said I didn t know, as although my joints are, I feel that I am inside, like with my ribs often popping out as does it feel like other things do especially when I stretch, what do you think?

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Possibility of costochondritis is more.
And best treatment of this is immobilization.
So avoid movements causing pain.
Avoid bad postures in sleep.
Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise.
Wear chest belt to prevent mobilisation of affected area.
Start painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs.
Apply warm water pad on affected areas.
Continue all these for atleast 1-2 weeks, you will definitely improve.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
