Suggest Treatment For Cough And Cold In Infants

Hi Dr. Samuel,

My 1.5 yrs old son is suffering from cold & cough. We visit a Doctor near our localities on sunday & he prescribed Sinarest-AF (3.5 ml for 3 times a day). But still after 3 days we are not able to see any improvement in his health, even today it is in worst condition & he is crying. Please let me know if Sinarest-AF is antibiotic.

Also suggest if we can continue the medicine or we have change it.

Sinarest AF is an antihistamine, decongestant syrup.
It is not an antibiotic.
It seems that he may require one antibiotic medicine course to cure this infection.
Meanwhile continue with this syrup.
