my son is 11 months old and he frequently suffers from cough and cold.Recently he has been prescribed with LEVOSALBUTAMOL INHALER(two puffs 4times a day when there is cough / wheezing.hOW FAR IS THE USE OF SUCH INHALERS SAFE FOR A BABY OF this age?Does it contains steroids.. Are there any other option of treatment without the usage of steroids...

there is not really evidence based medicine for salbutamol but it helps sometimes.
you can give normal saline nebulizer for cough and cold, which is quite safe.
normal saline nasal drops can be used for the same purposes.
