Suggest Treatment For Cough And Headache

My husband has a dry hacking cough and he coughs so hard that he ends up with a bad headache., He was working in his building and he put new insulation up, and it seemed to have got worse after that. What would be a good cough medicine for him or anything. He is up half the night coughing.

Regarding your query for severe dry cough of your husband which also develops headache suggest that he may be having any of these-

1- Acute pharyngitis.

2- Acute tracheo bronchitis.

3- Asthamatic cough.

4- Chronic infective lung pathology like tuberculosis etc.

5- COPD.

All above has got their own clinical features and different treatment which may diagnosed by clinical examination by your Physician. So please consult your physician.
